Just to let you know that the full fight - including what happened at the end - is now available to watch under 'Video On Demand' on Coldwell Television, and I assume the Coldwell Boxing website.

Brilliant fight and well worth a look if you didn't see it on Friday.

And thankfully Kieran is ok in hospital and is hoping to be able to go home on Tuesday. The cause was exhaustion, dehydration and a collection of blood on the brain, which is being monitored.

Had it nailed on as my FOTY until Marquez wound up his right!

I second that , it was a magnificent effort by both boxers that was deserving of a much bigger audience (real shame not on sky) .
Imo the scorecards don't give a true reflection of just how close this fight was.
Farrells work rate V Crollas accuracy . It had the makings of a classic encounter and did not disappoint .

Glad to hear Kieran is okay - well done both lads.

I can't see the words "Video on Demand" anywhere on the Coldwell website. Maybe I am missing the obvious? Could you direct me to where I can find "Video on Demand"?

Note: I did order the online live stream of the fight but my stream died after four rounds of the main event (perfect stream all through the undercard and up to the end of Rd 4 of Farrell vs Crolla, then the stream started buffering like crazy and the stream became unwatchable). I don't mind paying to watch the fight in its entirety even though I know the result, I'd just like to know how to do it.

Thats a shame as he was decent and despite the loss, that performance probably put him in the domestic mix for sure.

Heartbreaking for the lad as I know from reading his posts that he lived & breathed boxing.

My heart goes out to Kieran. You could tell he lived and breathed boxing. It's a dangerous game. I don't know if this applied to Kieran or not but it's worth reminding fighters who read the board and will see this topic: there's more to re-hydrating after a weigh-in than chugging water. If you don't know 100% how to do it, find someone who does. Your career and your life might depend on it.

Terrible news, at least he can go on twitter to tell his friends, family and fans which highlights the advancement of medical science and also the BBBoC.

I do think more needs to be done to prevent dehydration in the ring. I think the use of sports drinks between rounds and more stringent Air Conditioning testing needs to be done.

Kieran will go down as a warrior and his last fight will be one that he can look back on with pride.
