a marciano biopic casting
not sure if this is the right area for a thread like this but if it isnt let me know.
who would be a good actor to play marciano?
I would personally like to see mark ruffalo. hes a great actor, hes italian, and he used to wrestle in high schoold so he might be used to the physical demands of such a role.
any other ideas?

I dont think anyone could really do Marciano justice. Same with Will Smith playing Ali, how on earth they managed to make a movie about one of the most entertaining men in history and make a two hour borathon is beyond me.
Re: a marciano biopic casting
maybe will smith would so better as marciano...
Re: a marciano biopic casting
....and morgan freeman is about the right age to play some of rocky's opponents.

Joe Mesi could give it a go (switch to orthodox mind), at least he was a boxer. I was thinking of the Sopranos guy initially but he's a bit of a fatty

Wouldn't Stallone (circa first Rocky film) be a reasonable choice?
I'm saying reasonable, not perfect.
