Benny Leonard did want to shut the The Pea up and we are willing to give him the opportunity but we would loathe to relinquish our title, seeing as it has taken 27 weeks (plenty of people ducking us, it has to be said) and a fine run of wins to get a shot at it and win it.

I assume Benny Leonard is within the Top 15, so therefore we can't defend against him?

Your logic is correct. But Leonard vs Whitaker can be signed as non-title bout and you won't be stripped - this is a one week only offer.

To answer your query; any fighter ranked 16th and below in the points rankings can fight for the 2 minor titles.
