Wayne Alexander will he fight again this year?

It was over a year ago when he stopped Takloo. He has only 2 fights since.
Both times they were not for the WBU title. I dont know why he dont drop that a go for the European.

its blatently obvious FW doesnt rate him as one of his tiop men, which i a shame cos with that pwoer and tha chin he could be a wow stateside.

personally i think he deserves better and is underated, shold have had a decent fight this year building off the back of the Tak win and Mellis revenge.

He should move, FW has not done him any favours.

THe WBU route apart from Hatton does not lead very far.

Why doesn't Warren get behind him? It's not like he is inundated with big stars at the moment is it, look at some of the shit he has trawled out on ITV to date. Alexander in an exciting punchup has to be better than some/most of that crap.

Well they can't televise him if he's not fighting! Warren should get his finger out of his arse and get something going, Alexander has a decent following too but that has probably dwindled away with all this inactivity. Stick him on a show and he'd sell tickets for sure. But Warren is more interested in getting his younger fighters in with guys 2 or 3 weight divisions below on the undercard slots. I can't see ITV sticking around much longer the way things are going.

someone doesnt like their fighter and the fighter contract is almost up so he cannot get any fights until he signs a new contract which he doesnt want to do... because he knows that the promotor has done nothing for him in recent years.... his recent "world" title fight he wasnt meant to win.... that fight was meant to get rid of him

Like Nick says... he is exciting, sells good tickets.... problem must lie elsewhere

He should look elsewhere, Fight Academy. Matchroom or Hennessy would surely snap him up.

In Warrens column in News of the World on sunday, he said Alexander had come to him complaining that he wasn't getting any exposure, Warren said that Khan is the draw not him.

Basically, FW should do him a favour and stick him in with a name for ITV, and if he messes up, then he'll have justification in sticking him way down on undercards or hand him his contract back. If he wins and does it in true WA style, then FW will have a new star on the block.

According to my local paper last night he fight on Dec 3 Williams card against either Ossie duran or Thomas Mcdonagh.

Hardly a big name for him. He should leave definately.Warren seems to be matching his own fighters all the time now.

perhaps wayne could invent some letter that was delivered but not signed for by SN, one that SN say they put in the bin without looking at it.

We can then go through the whole boring saga of will he wont he, for it be thrown out of court but in the meantime its taken so long his contract is up anyway.

Wayne then become the oldest challenger for the light middle title at 54 years old. Well way it is going he wont get a shot with FW anyway

Definitely seems Warren has it in for Wayne. Wayne upset the apple cart knocking out Takaloo though. I think Warren was hoping for that to turn out the other way around.

Didn't Wayne step in at late notice against Simon? Seemed he saved the show for Warren. Where's the return for Wayne?

Thomas is a good mover and will be hard for wayne to catch.. you are right.... But if Wayne is fit and thus carry his power late into the fight i should imagine he will catch Thomas.....
I saw Thomas get dropped Twice by my buddy Tomas Da Silva (who should have won atleast one of their two fights)

Even though he's vulnerable I think he's got too much power for McDonagh and will gradually impose his will and walk through him. Not convinced by McDonagh at light-middle. I know he's improved and is stronger, but I feel once he's tasted Alexander's power he'll shut up shop.

Thing is, it's always a case of whether Alexander can get up for the fight?

Sports Network have never done much for Alexander and the same can be said about a few of their fighters, Bradley Price is not a world beater I know but I feel if he'd been handled a bit better he'd be just reaching his peak now and would have a good chance of winning the British title, instead he looks like an old fighter who used to have a bit of talent.

I think Alexander will KO McDonagh as soon as he lands a meaningful punch on him, which might take a few rounds.
