Good fight for GG and a good stepping stone.

Could be some big names on this card. Not sure where it'll take place.

Never heard of him, but seeing how he's based in Italy I expect him to challenge for the EBU 3 times a year now Sanavia has finished.

This title normally propels a British fighter on to a world title shot. Good timing for Groves.

I'm guessing he'll go the WBO route.

I know FW is planning on a big announcement tomorrow (he's said so on Twitter) and Burns has also tweeted that details of his next fight will come out on monday.

Groves v N'Diaye supporting Burns in a world title fight alongside Cleverly v Krasniqi with a couple of the likes of Liam Walsh, BJ Saunders, Buglioni and this will be an absolute corker.

Hope it's in London. But I doubt it will be.

Hopefully with Groves, BJS and Buglioni on the bill, FW will decide it's wise to stage this in the capital.

I guess it also depends on the level of Burns' opponent.

Warren fighter led in euro and wbo direction shocker. Lol.

Good fight though, to be fair wbo is the obvious 'weak' link on the smw world scene at minute.

If bunny can put together a card as suggested above, and more importantly KEEP it together with minimal pullouts and everchanging opponents, then could be one of the nights of the year for british boxing already.

Big if mind....

Good matchup. I remember reading about Ndiaye in Boxing News when he fought fir the EU- EBU title. Watched some of his last fight on YouTube, looks not too bad.

Abraham, for sure. Not a touch on the force he was at MW.

Bang on. Johnson fight was good prep for Abraham, though even AA isn't as slow as glen these days

Groves is ranked #1 by the WBO so he can have the shot at Abraham whenever he likes.

But will AA be forced to face his mandatory?

He's only fought tomato cans so far. Have any of those been mandatory defences?

You never know with the WBO!

The WBO aint exactly known for enforcing mandatories on their champions. But considering who Groves is promoted by I think it's fair to say when they want the shot they will get it.

i agree but think you've misread 'wbo' as 'who' there!

I did mean the wbo belt i.e. Abrahams is def the weak link out of the smw belt holders.
