Why is Mickey Ward cosidered one of the greatest body punchers ever?
I consider B-Hop a way better body/inside fighter but he doesnt get a quarter of the recognition. Why is that?
Can u explain this to me...

I don't figure Ward is considered one of the best bodypunchers in the history of the sport by too many people, but he certainly was a fine bodypuncher. I think his body punching is mainly praised because pretty much everything he accomplished in boxing was due to his body attack and toughness. He was an average fighter skill-wise but he went to the body real hard... but yeah personally I agree that Hopkins was a better bodypuncher, especially in the early days of his Middleweight reign, he doesn't go to the body too much anymore...Jose Luis Castillo was a great bodypuncher as well...and Ricky Hatton...and Miguel Cotto. All of those were great bodypunchers at the highest level of the sport.

Because he had several one punch body shot knockouts.

Against who tho people will mention him before Arguello or Marco Antonio Barrera. I don't like mediocrity imagine people bringing up Rich Gannon in a discussion about greatest passers with the names Manning and Montana.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Because he had several one punch body shot knockouts.
