I'm going and thinking exactly the same. Eddie said on his last show Yafai would be stepping up on the bill highly doubt it with only 5 days taking the pi$$ if you ask me.

Kal tweeted yesterday that his opponent would be announced in the next couple of days. can't see it being a hall or ward now though - would settle for booth, but even that may not be likely?

Eddie Hearn playing down the level of opponent on Twitter.

But he's based this show around him, quoted the English title and a 'step up' in class himself after Yafai's last win.

Interested in what will be produced here.

Also, is there anything else on the bill apart from the Prizefighters?

Booth has been quoted in the local press as saying hes not willing to become a name on the record of Yafai , he knows hes now not what he was and recognizing that is what will ensure he doesnt carry on too long , if he hasnt already .

Hes got a job now and i think he will have one last fight to end his career on a high , if he has anymore at all .

His name was put down wen local lad ryan aston pulled out of the show with a cut re-opening. Don't think their was ever an intention of him being on the show judging by his twitter his only just started camp for english title defense

lost his last 3 fights? standard opponent for only his 7th fight, but pretty poor as he is topping a bill and was meant to 'step up'
