We've been told we are on about 8.45pm - 9.00pm (Chris Keane Vs Shane McPhilbin)

Then after us is Martin Gethin Vs Ben Murphy about 9.30pm - 9.45pm

Then Frankie Gavin Vs Jason Welborn about 10.30pm

I was told Grant Cunningham is on before us, so assume he will be on about 8:15pm not sure about the rest has yet mate

Until today i thought Chris Keane vs Shane Mcphilbin was for the vacant English title , even says that on boxrec .

But then i saw carl greaves say on twitter today it was for the midlands title (which boxrec have now added to the english title on the schedule)

Was it always for the midlands title or has something caused the fight to not be able to be the for English title ?

The fight was for the midlands & Vacant English titles but the English title wasn't discussed at the board meeting for some reason, Shame really but either way the winner should get a shot at British next anyway

Shane just didnt turn up that night , when i spoke to him 2 days after he said he just didnt know what was wrong and that he was waiting to pace himself over the distance and never had a step up in gears in him etc

so kind of get the impression he would give it more of a go if they met again and that he would be interested in going again if he got the chance , but lets face it , it was a bit of a stinker to watch and therfor might not get made again for that reason .

Ive not seen a huge amount of Chris Keane but im led to believe hes got some ability , common sense therfor says Keane on points but never write off MR Block :box: BBG!!!!!!!!!!!!

He said the same to me about pacing himself and how he regretted it. I've got a feeling Keane will be the first to stop Shane though.

Yh, call me biased but I think Chris might be the first to stop Shane aswell. Shane is tough & can punch very hard and you can never write him off has having no chance, but i think Chris is the most dangerous puncher he's fought yet? i hope all lads on the show have great night, fight there hearts out and come through safely. Great night for the midlands, hopefully there be lots more to come.

Get your wellies out if you're coming, 'cos the snow is coming down good'n'proper here in Walsall.

(Not as bad as in some other places, I realise).
