Buddy Baer vs Wlad Klitschko

OK, both of these guys are about the same size 6-6 and 240+ lbs. I think Baer is a bit under rated, with most people remembering his brother Max. Buddy had some good wins with KOs of Galento, Mann and Simon, and his crowning achievement and 2nd rd KO over the legendary Corn Griffin.

Wlad is a better technician, Baer a big puncher. I like Baer by a mid round stoppage after getting up from several early KDs.

Bear had the MUCH better chin and was more durable. Wlad would be able to outbox him but Buddy could throw a nice stiff jab when he wanted. Problem was many times he forgot to throw it. If he jabs with the jabber to set up his big left hook, Baer wins by knockout.

And Baer could and would wing punches that could catch him. Wlad is much more reserved in his style. I'd pick Baer.
