For me a load of bollocks this statement. You don't mention money .........when you know it is going to be a shit load of money.....

It is like your missus saying, "darling I have arranged a threesome for us tonight"........ excitedly only to find your missus and the guy next door

Jennings was never in the top 25 and Lockett was never in the top 30.

He shouldn't have been ranked No. 1, he didn't deserve a title shot.

You dont get what you deserve you get what you negotiate.

As for the top statement, jennings was never in your top 25 but rightly or wrongly he was WBO #1 and im pretty sure he wouldnt swap his #1 status to break into some random blokes top 30 british boxers thats posted on a forum every month.

Do you agree he didn't deserve it then?

I don't care what Jennings thinks. He was vastly overrated.

He was WBO #1 or #2 for quite a while (ages if memory serves) so when the title became vacant he deserved his shot.

How he got to #1 or #2 , thats a different kettle of fish. Someone knows how to "expose" the ranking system <ahem>

Best of luck to Rees - hope he proves everyone wrong and proves to everyone who is going against him that they don't know much about boxing.

I know Lockett must install confidence in Gavin, and go out there attempting to win it - but such comments could isolate fans - there's better ways of saying it. I think there may be some now hoping the Broner demolishes Rees so that Lockett can have a bit of egg on face.

I guess only boxing people tipped Buster Douglas to beat Tyson also.... the only Sky Sports commentator who knows what they are talking about must be Glenn McCory who was the only one to say Calzaghe would outclass Lacy.

Exactly. broner doesnt look good at 21 beating Ponce De Leon. So Rees, who looks good beating Derry Mathews, well, good-ish, will beat him. rees didnt steamroll Andy Murray for the EBU ffs.

Looking forward to this one. Heart wants Rees head says Broner. A bit like my heart says Jessica Alba, but my head says Sonia offa eastenders.

You'd go to bed after 10 pints with that, but wake up to a lonely trumpet playing and discover this...
