thought hed just re-applied for his liscence and was asking for a fight with vitali left right and centre?

I thought he retired afer Wlad, said he'd come out of retirement for Vitali, ended up with Del Boy but I dont ever recall him retiring afer Chisora (although I could be wrong)

Haye ain't interested in ticking over & staying active . Sounds silly but he ain't a natural fighter, he don't get a mad urge to compete & when he does he treats it with extreme caution.
All about picking up the haye cheque!!
I wouldn't be suprised if he don't box again. People talk on the younger generation of heavys & I don't think haye is botherd at all in facing them.

While Haye is raking in money from other oulets such as Get me Out Of The Jungle fame why would he want to fight? He will be too busy opening supermarkets and other shite that celebrities do when they go on reality tv shows. Once the fog clears and his name isn't on the 'A list' any more he will make a comeback and just like Fraudley he will mug the Great British public and make a few more £'s to add to his vast fortune. Make no mistake about it why fight when easy money is coming in. At some point he will come out of the woods bad mouthing someone into a fight. Make a big issue and make a few quid, then go onto Celeb Big Bro, or strictly or some other shite.

Haye will not retire, he's just talking. He'll take another fight when he needs the money.

If he can't get age 41 Vitali, he'll fight some well-known but faded heavyweight like Hasim Rahman.

he fights once a year so ill expect him to want to pick up a decent fight sometime this year even if its not one of the klits. His style doesnt really require him to stay active in the ring and he stays in shape all year round anyway. Mayweather fights few and far between these days some fighters who stay in shape and live the life just dont struggle with ring rust.

He's a clown and he has no credibility. I've never seen someone try to psyche out another fighter (t shirt with the Klits head on it) and have it backfire so bad he literally shat it come fight night.

No respect for him he has no love for the sport just the money now.

I'd take a fight against Fury if I were Haye if he can't get the Vitali fight. Would be low risk and would make him a lot of money. No way Fury hits hard enough to stop Haye and I don't think Fury could take Haye's best shots. Easy nights work, similar to the Chisora fight.

The problem is other than the money its a pretty pointless fight for haye, he's a bit of a fame junkie and he's already huge in the UK. He should be targeting the upper echelons of the HW division ie belt holders and title challengers or the big names in the US who are probably less of a risk than fury anyway; make himself famous in the US and get a fight with the Klits - realistically Haye only needs to drag the US tv companies into the frame or have a legit top level fight to force the klits into fighting him through media pressure.

povetkin, arreola, pulev, helenius, wilder, id avoid the UK fighters altogether, he wont gain any respect from the boxing community worldwide from fighting domestic rivals unless he maybe takes Price but if haye won price would then suddenly be classed as a novice as usually happens.

Its a shame Wach was a cheat and been banned otherwise that would have been an ideal fight for him. Sparking chisora then Wach would have really put the pressure on the klits to fight him.

Im really disappointed haye hasnt called out povetkin, winning the title from him would completely validate his HW career and probably be a bigger win than the klits have managed (other than Haye by wlad).

Desmond's was an outstanding sitcom. I didn't like the Porkpie spin-off as much, although I always liked Ram John Holder's character.

The US TV companies and the US people saw Haye vs Wlad. They saw his tame effort, they saw his toe. What makes you think they'll fight his corner? I don't think Haye would sell a lot of PPVs in the States.

He looks like him. they look like father andn son.

In the ring.....im a fan of haye. I think his right stategy would be to either take a Vitali fight now while he can or wait for haye and price to get bigger which they surely will, and than a fight with them will make sense for him financially.

I know i get criticised for it again and again, but I dont think he lost that badly to wladimir he gave wlad his hardest fight since his defeats but lost one of those close but clear decisions in my mind but the truth is that wasnt good enough to the british and fight public after his big talk of being the "saviour of the HW division" "the second coming" and his whole toe gate antics were pathetic as was his headless t shirt wearing antics......although even there i suspect david is a consumate actor and he is great at building up these fake feuds with the brothers and chisora and audley. For that i dont blame him he has tried to bring back excitement to the HW ring

Haye is a quality boxer, no doubt about it and he did pretty well against Wlad but it was a tame performance at the same time. Tame in the sense that when it had become apparent that he was well behind on the cards he opted not to live to fight another day rather than run the risk of going out on his shield (refer to the Froch vs Taylor topic for a counter example). And then there was the toe. None of this would have mattered so much if he hadn't talked himself up as a warrior and posted pics of himself all 300 stylee with his beard and hammer, etc... yes he was just selling the fight but when it comes to an objective assessment of Haye the fighter, it all works against him.

I'd like to see him fighting regularly, trying to crush skulls, against guys like Povetkin, Fury, Price, etc... People can say "oh, he's bigger than that, he only wants Vitali". Then what? Vitali is old and there for the taking. Let's say Haye gets the fight and beats him. What then? Vacate and retire? Great... Thanks for the memories. I can only speak for myself but I like fighters who fight more than once a year and are prepared to take a few risks against up and comers as well as against more established names.

I don't think he did well at all, one of the most feeble big fight shitouts I've ever seen, he could have done better, he could have knocked him out, Wlads far from invincible.

A couple of reasons:
They love big mouthed heavy weights who ko 85% of their opponents
They especially love UK v US fights
They will give their HW's a chance against haye
Haye v Chisora was shown in the US on epix and it was a great fight.
HBO have been trying to get haye to fight in the US since his wlad fight anyway.

Think wlad was far quicker than haye thought he'd be, he panicked when he realised plan a wasn't going to work and it wasn't his finest hour. That said he took several shots flush and showed he had balls and shook wlad late on. There's enough there to warrant a rematch even with the wide cards.

I think if haye beats vitali, which he can feasibly do with a valuev performance, then wlad will def take up the rematch to avenge his family honour. In fact I'm certain a rematch clause with one if not both Bros is in the contract they already have pre-agreed
