auctions between fights
Not a fan of the auctions between fights. Think it may be just an Australian thing have seen hundreds of fights in the UK and have never seen it before.

I know at some of the smaller events it really helps bring in some extra cash but it looks bad at the big fight IMO.

Totally agree small shows where everyone gets involved it makes sense but if your in the cheap seats you won't even see what's on offer.

It is usually the people in the catered seats who buy the tickets.

I think the auctions are good at small local cards. But not so much the big fights.

What has cricket to do with boxing? Channel 9 hawks that stuff because the people who make it pay their bills with their advertising dollars.
