There are generally too many uncompetitive fights but, in defence of the promoters of Saturday's show - about three of the fights WERE competitive. I have been to promotions before where none of the bouts were competitive.

I think this thread has turned into a general grumble about shows, but the reason I wasn't fussed about this bill was the fact that none of the announced fights looked competitive "on paper". Not that many were announced until a few days before the card.
It's good for those that went that some fights turned out ok (I think Kevin McCauley (sp?) scored an upset win) but the point is how do they expect to sell to general fans if the opponents are either TBA or journeymen?
