Quade Cooper v Barry Dunnett
Quade Cooper v Barry Dunnett
If old QC is so keen on testing himself, why is it they have picked an opponent from the same Gym he trains at (Corporate Box). Since the announcement they have left Barry's name on the website under their fighters tab but have removed his profile, I assume they are trying to remove evidence of him being a training partner of QC...
I don't care that he is fighting a guy from the same gym, but don't try sell it to the public as a legit fight.....

I was hoping noone would care , worst fly half in my time to rep the wallabies. Maybe a good choice.
Re: Quade Cooper v Barry Dunnett
The only fight that would have any credibility for the great Quade would be for Quade to lock horns with his nemesis: Richie McCaw.
In the ring, our Quade would have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, like he does on the rugby field!

Would you consider the following a legit fight? http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1767483dan h wrote:If old QC is so keen on testing himself, why is it they have picked an opponent from the same Gym he trains at (Corporate Box). McCaw is 14 kgs heavier than McQuade. A boxing match between them would be ridiculous.Beltane wrote:The only fight that would have any credibility for the great Quade would be for Quade to lock horns with his nemesis: Richie McCaw.

On the same card Alex Leapai is fighting US heavy Matt Hicks. Not only has Hicks not won a fight in years, he lost a fight to B J Flores, who lost to Danny Green!
This fight was before the Green/Flores fight and Flores was only 7 pounds over cruiser limit. Alex should have no trouble with Hicks.
Boxrec rates Leapai at number 50 Heavyweight and Hicks at 500. Mismatch?

I doubt they tried to cover up that they were twin brothers, as is the case here.Da Voice wrote:Would you consider the following a legit fight? http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1767483dan h wrote:If old QC is so keen on testing himself, why is it they have picked an opponent from the same Gym he trains at (Corporate Box). I am a big fan of Alex's but this fight almost seem slike an admission that he cannot make it as a top HW after his last loss.Brute wrote:On the same card Alex Leapai is fighting US heavy Matt Hicks. If both wore black trunks & switched corners during the fight, I wonder what the scores would've been ?Craigyid14 wrote:Da Voice wrote:Would you consider the following a legit fight? http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1767483dan h wrote:If old QC is so keen on testing himself, why is it they have picked an opponent from the same Gym he trains at (Corporate Box). Sounds like a Marx Brothers plot.
Re: Quade Cooper v Barry Dunnett
Does anybody intend paying PPV to see this "fight" and the Botha/Williams dance? ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
Re: Quade Cooper v Barry Dunnett
Not interestes in watch Cooper fight one of his sparring partners.
I think ol' Frans just might spark SBW. Ill have to wait to read the results, as I won't be paying to see the fight!

This card should be on Fox. In no way is it PPV quality.
