An excellent 5' 5" compact fighter, with a flicking right jab, and hard whipping left hands.
Biggest problem, when he came forward to get inside to throw punches with his shorter arms
he was vulnerable to head-butts, which was problematic later in his career.
Did a fight with Cervantes ever come close to occurring?

NO,,,
Bruno was having weight problems as early as 1972. He actually challenged Jose Napoles for a chance
at the Welterweight Championship, but Jose refused to go to Italy for that bout, despite a large
fight purse offer.
I can understand the mindset of a champ who refuses to go to the challenger's homeland. Too bad about Cervantes/Arcari.
