Ceferino Garcia was a solid fighter in a tough era. During his career he shared the ring with such greats as Henry Armstrong, Barney Ross, Lloyd Marshall, Fred Apostoli, Freddie Steele, Young Corbett III, Bobby Pacho and Ken Overlin. Several of these guys he fought several times.
Garcia was also the originator of the bolo punch, although Kid Gavilan and Ike Williams were the ones to popularize it. Garcia also briefly held a claim to the Middleweight title.
In my opinion, this underrated and underappreciated fighter is Hall of Fame worthy.
Anyone agree, and if not, why?

Is Ceferino Garcia HOF material?
Actually, Macario Flores was using the bolo punch years before Garcia:

And, Garcia has been inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame. Twice! (The second time by mistake, I suspect.)
