Im currently helping training nathan , hes just come back from a career threatening hand injury .Adamj1987 wrote:i always liked nathan mcintosh but his career has stagnated
Only been back in the gym for a week so theres a long way to go and its unlikely he will box this year as we want to make sure his hand is good .
Hes still only 25 so got loads of time yet to make an impact .
Hes come to the gym at 10 and half stone without training , so although hes mainly boxed as a welterweight i think he will be giving it a go at light welter when he returns to the ring .
Very talented lad whos been dogged by injuries .

Leigh Wood is the name that springs to my mind as a future star

Yes Nathan Mcintosh he has struggled with his hand for quite a while he looked good last time I saw him at Clifton Leisure Centre but unfortunately injured his hand again so i hope he has got it sorted coz a nice guy as well as very talented BEST OF LUCK TO HIM
Re: Who are your up & coming Britsh boxers
I am going to mention Leigh Wood and Dale Evans who I expect to make real strides this year. Liam Williams, Lewis Rees and Chad Gaynor too
Re: Who are your up & coming Britsh boxers
Arfan the major Iqbal from Derby is a really good prospect the guy can really bang just needs to control his aggression and be a little more patient and he could go a really long way coz he can box as well as punch but at the moment he is just trying to blow them out from the first bell but he is still very young and raw
