SBW v Frans Botha

That was my thoughts as well, he supposadly tested pos. for valium and an appetite suppresant, hardly Lance Armstrong level any how, but if he tested posative for a banned substance four days before the bout, then why hasn't it come to light until now, two days after this fiasco has turned into a shit fight? I guess probably because this "tested posative for a banned drug" is a throw off for the real situation.
If this promtion/management team isn't legally prohibited from and run out of boxing then I call on all boxing fans that frequent BoxRec to boycott watching or attending any Khoder Nasser promotions in the future, and call on all fighters frequenting BoxRec to say no to fighting on these dodgy promoyions.
I know several boxers that have foght on these shows and all are left with bitter tastes in their mouths.

two issues here, Drug issue, which may or not be a furphy.

And changing the conditions of the fight even on the day of the fight.

I think Nasser will have trouble getting people onside because of the way he handled the change of conditions. totally amateurish. Not worthy of a PPV which should be reserved for special proffesionall run cards.

I'm not entirely convinced he got offered the fall money in the first place. Williams was beating him easily til he ran out of gas, I made a good profit on the fight and would bet more on a re-match. Seeing that grainy iPhone footage of Botha wining every night on one news is p1ssing me off, it's just a shame it's the only boxing news I've seen on the t.v for along time.
