Did anyone see Sakio's performance today ?? Unfortunately I didnt but it appears he has taken care of a another decent opponent. Title fight must be on the horizon !!

Not a surprise result. Sakio was 6-1 favorite with the bookies.

He became the mandatory challenger for the WBC title, which is held by Ward, but some sources are reporting that he's more likely to rematch Bute.

But with Ward out of action likely until the fall because of a shoulder injury and Bika not in his plans, a rematch is highly unlikely for now. Bika instead could be headed for a rematch with Montreal star and former titleholder Lucian Bute, who was ringside with his team to watch the fight.
