Audley Harrison chewing on the big steak.... Think I need a lie down...

After which I will be taking myself down to the bookies. Now that Audley has clarified that his losses to Haye and Price were due to his broken heart, as opposed to his shattered chin, I will be wagering my life savings on A-Force fulfilling his destiny and becoming world heavyweight champion in 2013.

Believe

It is his density.

And it's nice to see so much humility from him too... As some other heavyweight once said - I can't think of his name right now, it's hard to think of any other heavyweight after 18 minutes of pure unadulterated Audley - it's hard to be humble when you are as great as he is :salut:

I enjoyed it. I will honestly look back on Audley's career with fondness(if he ever retires). He has provided some great comedy moments. And.... I would not put it past him to win this! There is no Haye or Price in the line up and Audley can do well against lesser opposition.

Audley is an intelligent, pleasant man but utterly deluded as he says himself he ignores the facts.

If you watch that shit do not look into his eyes. He will brain wash you in believing that if you shell out £250 for his next fight he will become world heavyweight champion. He is the devil in disguise.

As much as we take the p*ss out of him, we should remember he was an olympic gold medalist. The man gets basically no respect these days.

I hope he actually tries in this Prizefighter, if he gets through the quarters I might throw some money on him. :-?

His talent and hard work took him to Olympic champion status. Ironically, he doesn't really have insane self-belief or he would have gone much further. He just says he has.

I've changed my views on all this recently. The man has to be applauded in one way. He came from a life of crime to win an Olympic Gold medal, have a relatively decent career (European champion, world title challenger) albeit disappointing compared with what people originally expected and he's made a lot of money in the process.

I personally don't like the guy or the way he fights but if people are prepared to shell out their hard earned to watch him then why should he stop? I guarantee the main reason that Prizefighter sold out was because of him. For some reason people buy into his act, me included given that I went to Haye v Harrison. He's become a figure of distain and ridicule but the fact is that the man sells whether for good or bad reasons.

i like the guy personally! he may not have lived him to his early promise. but thats not to say he has had a terrible career he has won titles and of course a gold medal. He wont be remembered as a top boxer but maybe more of a entertainer which at the end of the day it is all about

At about 17.00 minutes in I thought Audley was going to make it through an interview without referring to himself in the third person......

Call me mad but I fancy Audley to win this! He'll have a cagey start but his fitness might be key. It's not exactly filled with loads of talent.

I thought he was quite lucky to win the last one. He was getting backed up and roughed up by Barrett in the final until he landed his bomb.

I do like Audley, and would much rather hear him talking than pretty much all of the Sky favourites. Be good to see him as a pundit where hopefully he could relax more and not have the pressure of repeating his mantra to ever diminishing returns. He's a great talker and a funny dude when he wants to be.

That said, how does 82 seconds against Price 'rid him of ring rust'?

Come on sir.

Firstly, I have massive respect for Audley winning an Olympic Gold, but this kind of shit really annoys me.

As a pro he massively underachieved - not even getting to British level IMO.

He boxed for the Commonwealth title - against the British Danny Williams.

He boxed for the European title - against the British Michael Sprott

How boxed for the World title - against the British David Haye.

Not only did he not deserve his European or World title shots - they were all against domestic opposition.

There it is, 9:26. I'm really pleased for Audley that we have found his redemption.

11:02 is a great moment too. I love the expression he has when he says those words. Someone needs to edit the vid to have these points follow on from each other.
