I'm moving to Chicago this month and looking to join a gym. I was planning on joining Chicago Boxing Club after hearing great things about it and looking at their results in the Golden Gloves, but found out today that it recently closed down. It split into two gyms, Sam Colonna Boxing and Bodyshot Boxing. Anyone have anything to say about either of those gyms? I've heard about Jabb a lot, but it looks too commercial for the purposes I am looking for. The park district seems to cater to younger fighters than myself.
I know how to find a list of gyms using google, but it is hard to get solid reviews from actual fighters. I have amateur fight experience and am looking for a gym that regularly puts its members in fights. I'm 20 and a heavyweight if that matters at all.
Can someone recommend a fighter's gym in Chicago

I reccomend the brooks park boxing gym on the northwest side. Its at Touhy and Harlem. I know the guys that run that gym. Great guys and great instruction. I trained at Fuller Pk years ago but haven't been there in a long time. Its on the south side at 45th and Princeton. It was great too.
