To be fair it is an eliminator, not a final eliminator. Though my guess would be the winner fighting for the vacant title.

Both ranked top ten at least

Take out frampton and quigg

Galahad seems to be going the wbc route

Leaves only dickens and walsh above mcdonnell.

Robbie turley doesnt appear to be active, that only leaves michael walsh between mcdonnell and economides, so a british eliminator makes sense.

its a proper 50/50 fight thats why the board have gave it the all clear to be passed as an Eliminator both ranked in top 10 both been in 10 round fights gavin in good form stopping his last 2... so why not?
this is a great little fight for small hall boxing and its been a pleasure dealing with Mark to make this fight happen :TU:

So yet another fighter ducking Jazza. No disrespect to both these guys but surely the BBBofC should be putting Jazza in for a British Title eliminator Economides has lost 4 fights. I have'nt seen Jazza fight but everyone I know who has says he is a special talent. Without the TV deal it seems very difficult to match him well and test him.

Yes it's a great little 50/50 the division is wide open as the top 3 are well beyond domestic level some good fights to be made and I'm very pleased to have scooped this 1 on a small hall show Doncaster dome is a great venue and my shows get packed to rafters
