It's a 6 fight deal didn't think Floyd would box for another 3 years, great news for boxing as a whole

Adrien Broner would be top of the list for me when you take into account he is 23 years old and is already a two weight world champion with a terrific skillset and a personality that people will either like or dislike so they will be buy the pay per views to see whether or not Broner gets put on his backside in the same manner Prince Naseem was over here in the 90s with his skills and personality as well. You could also say Saul Alavrez would not be too far behind again a young fighter only 21 years old and already has a large Hispanic following plus both of them are bankrolled by Golden Boy Promotions who HBO have always had an excellent relationship dating back to when De La Hoya was fighting on their air from the 1990s.

You can also throw in JCC Junior as well once he has completed his drugs ban for enjoying a bit of Mary Jane's charms. The son of a Mexican ring icon and the road to redemption because of the failed drugs test and losing his title with Sergio Martinez. Add to that the rivalry with Alavrez and the desire for a rematch with Maravilla. Plus JCC Junior is 26 years old as well so they could get a good four or five years of good pay per views buy out of him especially when you take into how the Middleweight division is hotting up (if he does choose to say in the Middleweight division.

Arum wont deal with showtime or anything involving Espinoza, due to their bad blood.

So let's say HBO demanded Pacquiao and rejected the other dross that Floyd was talking about, he knows going to Show would kill that dead anyway.

It just creates further divides as fighters like Rios (HBO) and Khan (Show) will never fight because of politics.

Totally agree. Some of the stuff HBO passed was awful. Guess thats why they finally god rid of Greenburg. But what about Haymon, is this the end of his relationship with HBO?

It's pretty much HBO/Top Rank and Showtime/Golden Boy. It's been this way since the two tv companies got their new head boxing execs. Before it was the other way round.

It's a joke really though, because your not gonna see any cross promotions at all. Now considering the two talent pools these two promotional outfits have between them, it makes this a crazy situation. It's why people like me don't officially contribute to boxing anymore.

I can't believe Showtime have given Floyd the deal reported either. The man has fought guy's nobody wanted to see him in against so many times, and still keeps getting paid silly amounts of money. Robert Guerrero is another dud fight.
