Lenny Daws European title shot in Italy

Post by ianburbedge »

Lenny Daws will challenge for the vacant European title against Michele Di Rocco on April 27th in Perugia, Italy.
Although we've got to go over there, we're fully confident that Lenny will bring the belt home, Di Rocco's a capable boxer but if Lenny performs how he can even if it goes to points it'll be that clear even they won't be able to rob him, the likes of Pat Clinton, Charlie Magri, have done it and Lenny will be the next name on that list for sure.

Good luck to him; will it be on Channel 5?

Looking doubtful for Channel 5, there's a possibility of allegedly or Eurosport but nothing clear as yet.

Good luck to Daws. A good and well deserved opportunity. A fair shake and Lennys can pull this off. A real shame if CH5 don't show it. I know Italians are renound for spoiling but Lenny is good at handling those styles, just fingers crossed the ref plays it fair.

Yes it's the full European title, not the EU that Lenny won last time out.
