Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
Hmmm how can u have 59 53 in a 6 round fight?
Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
5x10 + 1x9 = 59
1x10 + 3x9 + 2x8 = 53
* 2x8 ain't necessarily due to knockdowns

e.g. Matt Te Paa vs. Shannon McMahon in 2006. No knockdowns in it...but?

Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
Yeah guys thanks but I don't think Carr lost a round and there was no 10 8 the other two judges had it 60 54. Anyway ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)
Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
My bet is Howard fucked up. Should read 59-55. He has stuffed up all night.

That is interesting scoring. Maybe it was 59-53. I struggle to see how he got that score though. Allan didnt win a round.

At the time, I had numerous messages from fellow editors, asking me if I was on Coco Pops & Fruity Lexia when I inserted resultsDa Voice wrote:e.g. Matt Te Paa vs. Shannon McMahon in 2006. No knockdowns in it...but?

Hey hey, leave The Howard alone.Sweet P wrote:My bet is Howard fucked up. Should read 59-55. He has stuffed up all night.
Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
Allen didn't win a round, but Ignatius can be a bit..........,well.....different. In fairness to allen, after a poor start and ordinary first couple of rounds, and being out classed by Carr, he came back into the fight somewhat and was competitive enough to prove the fight wasn't a mismatch.Sweet P wrote:Da Voice wrote:e.g. Matt Te Paa vs. Shannon McMahon in 2006. Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
Hahaha, the Howard. At Susie Q's last fight I went in to the ring to grab a photo with the champ. And I also got a pic with Howard, much to his surprise. If I was smarter I would post it.
Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
Carr is a good prospect. He has done well against experienced fighters.
Hope he keeps it up.

Re: Jake Carr, Star in the making?
That scoring reminds me of the scoring for Klitschko-Rahman, a bout in which there was one knockdown. I imagine that Missalidis and Cavelieri have very low thresholds for how one-sided a round must be to warrant scoring it 10-8 in the absence of a knockdown.Da Voice wrote:e.g. Matt Te Paa vs. Shannon McMahon in 2006.
