my brother garry lost a british title fights at heavyweight and cruiserweight but couldn't get a british title fight at light heavy so thats 0-2 for him

Yeah shame he never got the chance in 94-95 time, as thats when he looked best. Oddly the British Light Heavy title wasn't fought for between 1993 and 1998.

I remember him KOing Agrimonda Chiponda (sp) for the Commonwealth and then losing to Magee (due to weight making?) but yeah, seems daft they didn't put the British on the line around that time? Especially as Piper and Ashley had that great battle around that time too.

Dave McHale had 3 goes at the Super Feather title between 94-97, but lost all three and all by 10th round TKO
