My guess is he was a pretty obese guy of about 5ft7 or so at 180 and suddenly took training and diet really seriously and dropped 55lbs in 3 years which I guess is possible.

Yeah, it makes it sound ridiculous to go to featherweight from cruiserweight, but 55 pounds in 3 years is nothing if he was pretty overweight. Heck, I bulked up for a power lifting contest (nowhere near being obese either) and then dropped 40 pounds in 3 months.jameswilson wrote:My guess is he was a pretty obese guy of about 5ft7 or so at 180 and suddenly took training and diet really seriously and dropped 55lbs in 3 years which I guess is possible.
I do have to admit though, seeing those two divisions makes it look like a huge jump.

He doesn't look that fat to me at 11st 8lbs - might be a mistake or a fighter with the
same name?

Yes -I dropped 54 pounds in seven months the year before last-Went from 13.9 to 9.11.
A sensible diet and loads of exercise.

Yes, but you were probably very overweight, Gevonte Davis clearly isn't looking at the photos and video.Terminator666 wrote:Yes -I dropped 54 pounds in seven months the year before last-Went from 13.9 to 9.11.
