Can't protect a bad chin, no matter what. You've seen prospects put down before (Hatton-Magee in 02) and take it, hold on and get back up.

The chicken dance is never a good sign.

They're both very, very average. Nowhere near world level.

Haye is the only respectable HW in the UK.

Not a great shot that's put him down, both from a chin point of view and also from a defensive poiint of view to get caught from that angle. Should have kept it long range for 4-5 rounds a la Klitschko, if he can learn to fight like that and take few risks to protect that chin, then he can still be a success. A lesson has been learnt, he'll have to become a bit more boring and go for longer fights.

It wasn't a great shot. I've seen Haye jab harder. They're talking about a Fury fight, which Tyson will take at a shot but if he loses to Fury his career as a world level operator is over

He wasn't a world level operator yet anyway, this was his first toe being dipped in the water. It was supposed to be a mild test for future tougher matches.
Well I said it cos he was being talked up as one. Apparently he was '2 fights away from Klit'

And some on here were saying this man would not only beat Fury with ease but also have a good chance at beating Wlad lol. His fans needed this. The hype was way too much. Knock outs always create ridiculous hype even when the guy is knocking out guys like Skelton and Audley.

That tosser Maloney is crying into his drink tonight, that's the upside. What a dated relic he looked in there in that daft suit. Should have ditched that in the 90s!!

Just another reminder that cunning, old-style skills can easily overcome big, towering, body beautiful power-mad types. the old fat man who's been around and picked up some tricks kept his cool and wasted the guy who looked like what modern boxing fans think a modern champion is supposed to look like.

I'll take the man who trades on technique over the hometown muscle man who blasts out all his handpicked opponents.
