HW Division (part spoiler)
Just shocking. Two Middle Aged men RULE the division with absolute ease. Our main man was taken out by a 'fat' 41 year old yank. Unless Fury swings an almighty lightning bolt that luckily takes Wlad's head off he hasn't got even 10% of the skill to beat either Klit.
Arreola already been beat, as has Adamek, Haye and the rest are worse so what's the point? F this division

Which sums up why this division is so shiteShadrachSimmo wrote:41 year old heavies are the toast of the day. Rogie. Redemption and the tiger.
Re: HW Division (part spoiler)
That just confirmed Kubrat Pulev is the heir to the Klitschkos but he would not beat Wlad right now. Would stop Povetkin late IMO.

Povetkin doesn't count as a champ IMO. He is WBA No2 champ cos Wlad got upgraded. I see that as no different to being an Interim champ. He's a paper champion. Noone beats a Klit or breaks their sweat... Or hits then cleanlyNaandrew wrote:That just confirmed Kubrat Pulev is the heir to the Klitschkos but he would not beat Wlad right now. The Klitschko's will go down in history as All Time Greats. The rest of the division would be better off without them but they are untouchable.danconnollyeire wrote:Which sums up why this division is so shiteShadrachSimmo wrote:41 year old heavies are the toast of the day. It's not shite. If the Klitschko's weren't there then it would be competitive.

Agree 'but' if they were prime 15 years ago they may still be champs but if they regularly fought Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis etc rematches and what have you, they'd prob still be world class level but has a few more defeats, close pointers, tough nights. This era is worse that 5hitThereByTheGrace wrote:The Klitschko's will go down in history as All Time Greats. Re: HW Division (part spoiler)
Oh yeah I totally agree but those two and Fury have that 0 and are probably considered the best outside the KBros. The WBA liek the heavyweight division are a joke with those belts and Povetkin has ducked Wlad for at least 4 years now surely !!!!!!!!!!!!danconnollyeire wrote:Povetkin doesn't count as a champ IMO. I honestly thought Price in early 2014 would be the only person to cause Wlad problems. Oh well atleast we still have Audley going strong :-)

The Klitschkos will not go down as 'all time greats' in any sane, non-racially motivated assessment. When your best win is over a semi-retired, 40 year old, glass chinned Corrie Sanders and you couldn't even put him on the floor you are not great. And as for Wladimir? Well, he was razed by the same guy. All those defences and no one of any pedigree or quality.
If this is the only era you have known then I pardon your ignorance, but the people who will actually place the Brothers Klit in context are a bit more educated and enlightened.

FFS David Price is not dead! He will obviously go back to the gym, work on his flaws (that he probably knew he already had) and learn to defend himself a bit better.
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people that lose their mind if a prospect unexpectedly loses. Nearly all fighters lose in their careers, its how you adjust after the defeat is what makes a real fighter.

It would be great for boxing if Thompson could whack Fury and Wilder for us now.
The way manager's develop their heavyweights would have to entirely change.
