I don't think he would.

Price would probably be better off defending his British title and making money on the back of it but he is always going to be a KO risk when he steps up, he would get KO'd off the likes of Pulev and Helenius
so the EBU is a risky route. Then again - Audley got to a WBA title so anything can happen.

No, but Price could box better. That is the key for Prices return, boxing to a game plan. He should have boxed long, and worn the older, more out of shape guy down.

I wonder what sort of cash is Frank prepared to continue to invest in Price now that his stock has dropped significantly. I doubt guys like Thompson come cheap. Price is really back to square one. Does he go back to British level or does he take another risk and fight a fringe contender? Chisora is probably in between and is an obvious opponent.

Maybe I'm looking too much into it but did anyone else think much of Price losing the eye contact with Thompson in the staredown during the ref's instructions? I think the veteran got in his head a bit.

He relies too much on his one punch power and has failed to develop a decent jab to set him up. With his reach and power he could break opponents hearts with a nice stiff jab. This defeat could be the best thing that could have happened to him. Time will tell.

I've never heard from a great boxer that didn't have a jab, at some point they all used it to win a fight

Seen the footage on Sky News now though, and perforated eardrum or not it's hard to imagine any top heavyweight swaying around like that from a punch that really wasn't launched as a fight-ending blow.
