he's got to be 45 now though, Saleta was no world beater but Golota was shot a few years ago.

I know but Saleta himself is 44 - suppose Saleta doesn't have the same ringwear on him though. Or the inner streak of madness.

I was there in Ergo Arena - exciting fight it was, but for all the wrong reasons...

Both looked their age, but Saleta at least had a fight plan. He kept a jab on Golota's face bloodying the nose already in the 2nd, covered up when Golota threw his arm-punch combos and attacked when Golota was out of breath. Smarter, maybe also better-conditioned man won a fight which neither should have taken anymore for health reasons - money was probably good though. Big arena full with very expensive tickets...

Interesting round up, thank you mate. I want to see the fight when it surfaces on the internet but I hope Golota never fights again.
