Top 5 P4P Chinniest British Fighters

Post by Terrrrry »

So, in light of Price last night, I'd be interested in seeing who people believe are the top 5 'chinniest boxers' in British boxing?

Should be interesting/a laugh...

Khan tops the list, surely?

Can't think chinny and not think of Paul Ryan or Errol Christie, but long retired the pair of them.

Khan gets a bad rap. He's taken some big shots and has stood up to them at world level.

How could I forget to mention Enzo!

To be fair, the shot Khan took against Garcia was pretty big. Plus he had his own momentum going into the shot.

Don't get the whole Mitchell being chinny thing, Ricky Burns is actually the only man to put him down as a pro. He stood up to Prescott's shots and went toe to toe with Murray for 8 rounds, even Katsidis only stopped him on his feet when Mitchell was badly unprepared.

I agree Darcy and it's pretty much the same for Enzo. The thing with this list is that everyone of them are big hitters themselves; maybe they are too gung ho - going for the KO and walking onto a shot.

Infact anyone saying danny williams is one of the chinniest british fighters of all time should be thrashed with nettles then made to watch rahman ruiz, repeatedly.

Sorry Wales. I could've trawled the records for a weak bearded bantamweight from Barnsley circa 1904 but thought I'd stick with what I know.

I should never have put "Ever". That was remiss of me.

Iv watched plenty of Danny's fights thanks including the Tyson fight, which was a long time ago when williams could hold a shot.. when i saw this post I was assuming it was on fighters at present & not 10 years ago so thought he was worth a mention... P.s was not taking anything away from Danny & what he's done for the sport,!!
