corcoran v rutherford

wembleys billy corcoran steps up in class to fight coventrys roy rutherford on friday week for the english title at super feather weight. its on the undercard to witter v lynes and im just wondering what people reckon about the outcome of this fight?

Thought Rutherford was not campaigning at super feather no more and was dropping down to feather.

Thats what I thought he said in the fights of 2004 show on Sky, seems like he fight at whatever weight the quick buck can be made - which is a pitty because he has some skills and I honestly think can campaign at European level at Featherweight.

he does come from an irish family and was born in ireland (galway) but has lived in england since birth and also boxed for england as an amatuer which makes him ilegible to fight for the title.
