King v Galvin WOW!

Post by iamasadlittleboy »

That may well have been the best fight so far this year, genuinely enthralling. Well worth a watch if you didn't see it.

King certainly dug deep,i just hope he does,t have permanent damage to his hearing,Galvin was unlucky,i thought he looked like he was giving a bit of weight away, still hard to believe it was for an Australian title, it was a good program, the Frenchman looked good,is he a resident or just over for that fight,What fight was Cyril Kearnes watching?all the best

King was 6-0 getting a hiding from a guy 4-5. Galvin was game as heck and fought well above his record.

King was well, a warrior, to stay in there with what clearly looked to be a burst ear drum causing him a heap of pain. It was pretty funny to see him fight with one arm for a round when he was trying to cover the ear.

Anyone know what the cards were at the time of stoppage? Surely King was well behind.

Hopefully they rematch because ti was an entertaining brawl.

Was disappointed for my mate David when he was a mile in front but that's boxing and full marks to King for hanging in when I thought he was gone for all money. Dave is a warrior who will jump in with anyone and always gives a good account of himself.

Galvin was in front before King had the ear problem,i think they have false raps on King, if Galvin can,t fight it doesn,t say much for King, they both need plenty of individual work with their trainers, they both showed plenty of ticker, the Frenchman and Kiwi had the skill that is not being taught to our boys, Smith and Flanagan found that out.all the best

Agree with the first 2. No way it was 4 rounds each.
