JLD v Stafford

Post by 15829 »

For the British title I know the Cruiserweight division isn't booming but I don't know what Stafford has done to justify a title shot, surely Chris Keane who has just stopped McPhillbun would off been a better choice

Where & when is this happening or has it been ordered by the board & going to bids?

Also agree that Chris Keane should come above Stafford.

The Board should not allow it.

To be able to fight for the Lonsdale Belt is something we have been working towards and wanted for a long time and fully agree that other than maybe Dawson there is no one else but us that should of been given the opportunity to fight for it but unfortunately politics get in the way. I don't think fighting us is a fight that Dickinson/Dickinson Team would want voluntary anyway and think the board should make us mandatory when they next sit. But in saying that, every cloud has a silver lining and believe we will be next anyway has we are close to announcing a very big fight for us that will push us in the direction we've been quietly working hard towards for the last 4 years and put us clearly head and shoulders above all the other domestic Cruiserweight's. Stafford has just announced he's got the fight. Doesn't know whether it'll be in Sunderland or Liverpool.

Confirmed Dickinson v Stafford at Rainton Meadows 19th April 2013. Glenn Foot also on bill and up to a dozen fights on the show. Should be a doozy. :box:

Just shows you that the board will pass lads to fight for a British title on the back of beating a load of journeyman cuz that's all Stafford has beat.

I know it's amazing, but they wouldn't put Chris Keane Vs Shane McPhilbin who had only just lost his British title, fight for the vacant English and made it a area title instead but let that sorry sceptical fight last night be for the English title  don't understand there logic at times

The Southport lads will be vocal. There'll all half-decent kids so should be a decent atmosphere.
