Irish Gil King who fought a lot in SoCal in the early 70's? Believe he was a welterweight. Saw him several times at the old Valley Music Theatre and watched him lose to one of my favorites Mando Muniz in Anaheim. A pretty talented guy, but never got to the next level. Believe he was shot (not physically. By bullets) in the mid-70s. He survived but it ended his career.max hord wrote:Anybody remember Gil King ???
