Hughie Fury Going Pro

Post by Coco »

I just noticed on the schedule that he is due to make his debut on his cousins undercard in New York.
The world junior gold medalist looks a real talent and is a great addition to the pro game and Hennessys camp.

Yes, he's not hanging about and fair play to him.

yes would think he will fight at cruiserweight initially, doesn't look big at all and will never be tyson fury's size.

Height wise they are pretty similar, Hughie has some filling out to so though.

Hughie doesn't look more than 6"5" at most to me and around fifteen stone. As for filling out yes he has that to do and big people mature slower, Tyson himself at 24 may not be at his strongest yet. The only question is whether the heavy weight pro ring is the place to grow up, but Peter Fury seems to have a brain so i guess he will look after him.

Peter Fury posted a picture on twitter of Hugie from lake garda in Italy where there training and stated he was in great shape and feeling strong at 105 kg, so I guess he'll be boxing at heavyweight has he's only gonna keep growing. Good addition IMO he's a very talented kid.
