Which specific scorecards are you referring to?
What the hell are you waffling about scorecards? The only scorecards that matter are the official ones, whether you like it or not.

Observers are just that, guys from the fight game who watched the fight and stated that Hagler pulled it out in the last couple of rounds, which again, he did whether you think so or not.

Now, i have neither the time or the interest to get into a ten page debate on the validity of your opinion of how the fight went. I am quite happy in the knowledge that the scorecards were correct, and with the genarally agreed concensus that the fight was won in the last 2 rounds.
More generalities. I gave my scorecard. The only thing you've done is respond that the official cards disagreed, a point of which I'm fully aware, and you then provided this "most observers" line. Specifics? Their scorecards? It's one thing for someone to say vaguely "close fight." It's another for someone to give his scorecard.

I'm sorry but anyone who goes from saying 'Hagler was up by five rounds' to 'Hagler won the last three thats not debatable' but wants to grasp on to both ends of the straw, is a moron. Then again, this is coming from a guy who just a day or so ago, claims Spinks was a legitimite heavyweight and was so skilled he could of beaten Holmes at any time, etc. the man sort of man who believes Marciano was a crude, unpolished, overated bum, etc. who for the sake of just having something to say, says anything to get a rise or anyone's attention.

I said I had Hagler 10-5 & Hagler definitively won the last 3 rounds. I'm sorry if you're too incredibly stupid to process that.

In other words you have been exposed yet again as a self opinionated fraud, who if you knew half as much as you think you do, it would be twice as much as you actually know.

Go away, and stop trolling your worthless spin. You wouldn't know a clear round if it bit you.

You've never had a conversation on this site that isn't argumentative. If you don't like my posts, by all means; stop obsessing over them.
Mind boggling that you can accuse any one else of being 'argumentative': :TU:

That still has Hagler up by 5 rounds. As for the 'other' shit, whenever I remotely put my two cents in on Ali, you come in like you have to save Ali's legacy. I write something on Marciano, you take a shit all over it. I say Cooney was in a very competitive fight, you shit all over Cooney and at the same breath talk up Spinks, and laugh when I say Spinks only picked to fight Holmes cus he was on his way out. How else am I to take it other than you being a troll, when all I say is closer to the truth than the way you're trying to portray it as being?

Yeah, I had Hagler up by five rounds. I never said it wasn't a close fight or there weren't rounds that could have gone the other way. I said your draw card was weak and Marvin definitely won the 13th round.

The other points are pure bullshit. You're ridiculously biased against Ali, I've been called the same by his super fans on this site.

I've never called Marciano a bum. I'll bet you $1,000 against $1 you can't quote that.

I said Spinks beats any version of Cooney, you say I said he beats any version of Holmes.

I don't give a fornicate how you take it. If you're not articulate or versed enough to deal with my actual words. Don't try and have a conversation with someone who owns you. Feel free to call me an asshole, the only people that call me a troll are trolls or frustrated folks that can't handle when I poke holes in their silly points. You may be both.

I sent you a pm and you responded in here with more made up shit. Typical internet buffoon.

Just rewatched the 13th and once again it was one of those rounds where Hagler just did a little more.

Everyone knows that with the exception of a few disillusioned chaps in this thread, and duce's sample group.

I'm going to flip in the fight tonight just to be fair. Though I'm sure Henry will have me calling it 15-0 tomorrow anyway.

i gotta weigh in..two of my favorite fighters and I just watch the contentious round 13 again. ( watch 11 thru 15 actually)

first 2 minutes of the round Hagler's
last minute exchanged jabs and a couple of hooks. commentary ralks more about Duran's right hand but in fact he may have landed one or two more than Hagler.
On balance Hagler's round IMHO

I had three people in the room also and I asked them their opinion.
i) I asked the dog - He looked up, farted and then went back to sleep
ii) The missus said and I quote "Who wins?" when I answered she says "So who gives a feck then?"
iii) The parrot looked at me and said "Who's a pretty boy then"

FFS - Dirty Harry once said "opinions are like a$$oles - everyone has them"

Lot of opionions about (joke guys)

but Hagler won that round

I re-watched the fight this morning and after watching everything closely I came up with a card of 10-5 for Hagler. The last 3 rounds were as clear as rounds get.

If I own the gaf....I wouldn't be happy

all those people crouched over a table, scribbling away whilst squinting at the TV up on the wall

And I hadn't sold a single tequila......for thirty - nine minutes...I'd say

"oi you, HeyZeus Nooooooooo...as much as I admire our Central American fighting brothers, and their all action style, which majors on body punching, lateral movement and all out excitement....You are required to sample at least one shot of Tequila per raahhhnndd in order for you to watch them and for me to meet my quota.

Then I'd give him a slap, tear up his scorecard and pour him a drink

Well that's the way Harry Enfield would have done it.

He scored it to Hagler by the way :TU:

That either one of them won the round, is not the issue.

The issue is that certain IDIOTS claim it was a CLEAR CUT round for Marvin, when it PATENTLY wasn't. Unfortunately we have to respect the judges cards in most instances. Thankfully however we DO NOT have to respect self opinionated dickbrain internet wafflers opinions, like Saad off his neck, and others of such ilk.
Bee in your bonnet Foxy?
Get off your soap box and have some fun.
Agree to disagee?

I could get angry, being called names like Troll (I think you may have referred to me as one, earlier on another thread - apologies if I have that wrong), and the above. However, I do not.
Cap letters etc - You either have anger issues or are looking to get a bite.

If you get time, read my post again, regarding the breakdown of the round in question (thirteen). In my humble opinion MH was slightly in charge for first 2 min, Duran landed maybe a couple more shots in the last minute of the round. Very close round but I would edge toward Hagler. Its open to interpretation.

From your tirade, we have to respect the judgement of three people at all times? No, we do not, but we have to accept it.

How many bad decisions have you/I/Boxrec posters/anyone witnessed and scratched our heads, as to how the judge/s got it so wrong? You respect a blatent robbery (MH v RD wasn't one, of course)? No, you don't.
However, you have to accept and respect, that your opinion is different to many people (you do not have to respect the actual opinion though).

You want to debate with me? fine.
You want to insult people?

I have been watching boxing for a long, long time, and while no expert, I know enough. I am also an adult and can extend an olive branch to someone even after I have not tried to prod them with a stick.

No hard feelings

No Hey Problemo Amigo.

You have done a wonderful job describing the round in question, but that doesn't detract from the fact that certain fools have stated the round was a CLEAR CUT Hagler round. No debate as far as they are concerned.
