LOL at the gingerbread man boxing! Nice little scrap between Connor and Evangelou. Great to see Connor turn his career around.

Yes for sure I'm sure Woodhouse would be game. Might be a tad soon for Connor though: Woodhouse has boxed in pretty high class and in 12 rounders. If I was managing Connor I'd get him a couple more fights at this level before gunning for a crack at the British. Also, I didn't see the fight but sounds like Woodhouse was hard done by last night; they may be looking at the rematch.

After the first 2 rounds, I was thinking Conner would come off second best but well done to Danny. Always in your face type not prepared to take a step back.

Man doesn't look like my Rivera by upset prediction is gonna come through! Surely Purdy is taller than 5 ft 7 inches as listed? Always had Purdy down as a small welter having boxed at 140lbs.... Not so sure now as he's looking pretty big in there!

Poor stoppage. Cut wasn't that bad and blood wasn't affecting his eye. Typical British stoppage just as it was starting to heat up a bit.

Nonsense and crap! That was all it was, why didn't McDonnell stop the fight of his volition?
Why did he force the doctor to say the cut was too bad to continue?

So the ref has the doctor check it, the doctor says it's fine, then the ref has him check it about 30 seconds later and it's too bad to continue.

I didn't notice it get significantly worse during that period.

Very poor stoppage, we have seen countless fight continue with far worse cuts than that!

Shit stoppage, you can see the ref angling to have the doctor agree with him

Purdy would never have KO'd Rivera. McDonnell was looking to stop it. Shit to see as it would have been an interesting last few rounds had it gone on.

God wheres Micky Vann these days? He let Hatton fight on when it looked like he had been in a fight with a machete! No consistent refereeing these days.

Typical British refereeing performance, lets hope we get a American referee for Froch Kessler
