Wasn't he in Lajuan corner when he fought Rhodes
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
This fight card is garbage.

Keane nearly stopped him at end of 2
over now
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
I'm in Miami and am a huge Groves fan. Any update on the fight fellas?
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
Crap card tonight, all filler, no killer.
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
Groves stopped him in round 3. His opponent was nothing more than a moving punchbag. In fact, a punchbag might have offered a bit more resistance.
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
Won in the 3rd round against a area level fighter if he was English
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
Froch is being careful not to praise Groves too much. Clearly sees him as a future opponent.

This might be the worst boxing show I have ever seen.TheCobra wrote:Crap card tonight, all filler, no killer.
Awful.
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
Yeah, let's not go welcoming our new Hearn-ish overlords prematurely just because Bunny is so dislikeable

Very redolent of Nick Nolte in Down and out in Beverly Hills.Old bones Ian wrote:Im sure the Argie's trainer was selling the Big Issue outside Tescos earlier

Thanks for the updates on Groves guys
Hopefully his next outing is more of a match up.

Yeah, funny how things change. Especially when Froch is STILL going on about Calzaghe. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Bit cheeky of him saying he needs to step up the opposition to get a fight with him given his history.greenyox3 wrote:Froch is being careful not to praise Groves too much. Evangelou vs Connor was a decent scrap but agree the rest have been one way traffic for team hearns. Purdy vs Carson Jones would have been a helluva fight mind.

wtf happened there? that was shaping up into a good fight
Re: Matchroom undercard spoiler
Dreadful card. How about Barker facing someone like Rubio next.
