Thurman using the jab well in 3. Kind of taking a breather. Real good bodywork. thurman realizes Zaveck ain't just folding. More patience. Nice left hook late by thurman

Thurman showing good patience. Bodywork really hurting Zaveck. But he is still there. Nice set up for left hook by thurman. Zaveck showing good toughness and trying to wear Thurman out absorbing his shots, Bit left.

40-36 Thurman.

This has tko 6 or 7 written all over it.

Zaveck weakening. Catches Thurman with a right that is not to strong. Thurman's jab has improved markedly.

Zaveck lands very well with a right that definitely got his attention. Zaveck coming on in this round well. Nice right and left by thurman. Best round of the fight by far so far. Both mouth pieces out!

That was probably Zaveck's best round.

Thurman comes out throwing and gets caught by a Zaveck right hand. This is actually getting interesting. Zaveck definitely testing Thurman. Zaveck is one tough customer.

zaveck caught him with that right again. Thurman rat-tat-tatting with the jab. Zaveck loses mouthpiece again and warned. Zaveck getting rough in there. Close round.

Why is the ref threatening a point deduction due to the mouthpiece issue?
They both lost it in the 6th, and Zaveck lost it at the end of the 7th causing no delay.

Zaveck definitely attempting to rough Thurman up at this point. Zaveck does not respect Thurman's power as much at this point. Zaveck keeps trying to land the homerun right hand. Big right by Thurman. Nice left hand thurman.

89-82 Thurman, but Zaveck still right there.

Yeah Thurman is winning this clearly but Thurman's power is overrated. Plus he is throwing everything full power and is tiring. A guy with more skill and some power would do some damage.
