Hopkins/Cloud and undercard RBR.
Re: Hopkins/Cloud and undercard RBR.
I was more impressed by Thurman tonight than in all his other KO victories combined. He boxed well. He controlled the fight. He did a strong 12.

Does anyone believe that Andre wrote this analysis?

Thurman seems like a nice guy and is really well spoken. I hope him the best but I think he needs another 4 or 5 fights before he makes the step up.

Re: Hopkins/Cloud and undercard RBR.
Golovkin knows he can take people's power whereas Thurman doesn't because he doesn't have the amateur pedigree that Golovkin has. Golovkin is reckless on purpose while Thurman simply has defensive liabilities.SouthpawStephen wrote:You don't know this. You sound like the same guys that bash Golovkin. We can all see they are both top fighters. Zaveck has never been down. I like both Golovkin and Thurman, but Thurman does not get hit as much as GGG.Baby Face Finster wrote:Thurman is good, he simply isn't what HBO wants us to believe he is. I'd like to see him in against Mike Jones next to gauge where both guys stand in the division but I don't think he would fare well with any of the top Welterweights.SouthpawStephen wrote:He put on a clinic. Zaveck has an incredible chin.

Depends on how big a step it is. I think that he is not ready for FMJ or Bradley but I'd love to see him vs just about anybody else at 147.Baby Face Finster wrote:Thurman seems like a nice guy and is really well spoken. Interesting that Hopkins is entering last when Cloud has the title.

Yes, Golovkin gets himself in position to get hit so he can return fire. He believes so much in his chin that he is willing to risk taking a shot to land his own. I believe this 100%.SouthpawStephen wrote:So Golovkin gets hit on purpose? I'm not buying that. I'm sure he would rather not get hit as much as he does, but his aggression is what leads to it. If Thurman concentrated on defense more than his offense, he would not get hit as much. Gotta admit, he looked very good tonight.Baby Face Finster wrote: Golovkin knows he can take people's power whereas Thurman doesn't because he doesn't have the amateur pedigree that Golovkin has. Re: Hopkins/Cloud and undercard RBR.
And Hopkins is introduced first.
Re: Hopkins/Cloud and undercard RBR.
Seems fair to me.
Re: Hopkins/Cloud and undercard RBR.
Hoping Able is unAble and Tavoris fights like he is from TallaASSee.

Here we go.

Agreed, but then why was he introduced first?Tanzio wrote:Belts mean nothing compared to GOAT status.Rover wrote:Interesting that Hopkins is entering last when Cloud has the title.
