Frankie will win easy. I dont think he has any worries in the chin department and will just be too good for Denton. Heffron was made for Denton. I know Vassell is fit but bet he is blowing after hitting fresh air for 12 rounds.

Fighters like Vassell are made for Frankie imo. The key is Frankies movement, footwork, speed and angles, they will prove too much for Vassell. Denton is very strong, very fit and got good focus, but the big problem is that he's not got the best footwork and needs to get his feet in close and plant them to let his heavy shots go, if you stand head to head with him then its a hard nights work for anyone but Frankie's movement will be way too much. Boxing is about levels and has good has Denton is, Frankie is levels above in every department ( except six pack & muscle definition ) sorry Frankie :TU:
Pretty much sums it up (in lots of words though). If Frank is fit he could walk it. Fitness is the key I think. If he can keep Denton guessing and chasing shadows it could be an easy nights work. If Frank can't keep Denton off and tires anything can happen.

I think some of you Frankie bummers are seriously under-estimating Vassell here. I hope the odds makers do the same.

You've a very good point there and after reading and agreeing with it I can't see how it works with the Curtis woodhouse bout and others since. There is no doubt that Frankie has great potential and can box for fun; for my money though he has been lucky up to now. If Vassell trains well and keeps his head straight he can box a very smart fight and better fighters than Frankie have been beaten y far worse boxers than Vassell.

TheCobra, because I've given my opinion on this fight and it doesn't fit in with what you think then I'm a "Frankie Bummer" ? What a stupid remark  I'm not underestimating Vassell by any means, I'm simply giving my own personal opinion of how I see the fight going, I may not be right, but then again I might not be wrong, this is a forum where people leave thee own comments and thoughts about certain subjects and topics regarding boxing, and that's exactly what I've done. You have your opinion and I'll keep mine :TU:

Yes very true Palooka, in boxing anything can happen mate and of course a lot better fighters than Frankie have been beaten by a lot worse fighters than Vassell. I personally like Denton and think he's a very good fighter, my point was that Vassell has to get his feet in close to do any damage and I don't think frankie will be there for him to do that. Referring to the Curtis Woodhouse fight, Curtis has very quick, decent footwork, which must be from years of playing football, but lets be honest, if you know your boxing then you'll agree that has much has Curtis boxed out of his skin and done great, frankie was maybe in a bad place in his personal life, plus maybe he underestimated Curtis slightly, but in saying that he still won by a clear 4 rounds IMO (judges scores were ridiculous). So my point is that even though anything can happen and Vassell is a very good, tough, strong fighter, I see Frankies movement being the key

Cracking fight. Unsure if it will happen but if it does its a proper solid trade fight. Am leaning towards Gavin if he's right. Denton is decent but Gavin is special. If I can get even money on Gavin ill fornicate my budgie...

imo, Gavin lacks the power to stop Vassell.

Gavin is getting better but is he is not good enough to win a World Title, but time will tell.

Good fight.
