The show unfortunately had only 4 fights as Jamie wilsons opponent broke down on the way to the fight. John Mccallum's opponent failed medical from what I believe so he fought in a exhibition v Gary mcMillan.

First fight was Paul Burns v Dee Mitchell was a war from the start with both fighters getting rocked early. Burns took Control of the bout and won on points.

In the next fight Davie Drummond fought a boy from Uganda I believe not about to try and spell his name. Davie controlled the fight in the first round then hit him with a great combination to finish the fight in the 2nd round.

In the main event for the British Masters Bronze title. Ronnie"The Shark"Clark cheered on by around 300-400 of his own fans very vocal with the chants Ronnies Gonna Get Ya!! And that he did. I don't think you will see a more flawless 1st round in boxing.. Ronnie was sharp in and out hitting with combinations and from all angles with Michael Stuparts head and body taking a lot of punishment. At the end of round one you got see the damage on Stuparts face. In the 2nd round Ronnie was visibly winding up for that big shot and was taking risks to get the stoppage. Was caught a couple of times but just walked through the punches and hit with heavier punches himself. The ref stepped in and waved off this fight as Ronnie punched Stuparts gum shield out.Michael Stupart was very disappointed in the decision but deserves a lot of credit for finishing on his feet but he was taking a lot of punishment and was the correct decision by the Ref. obviously with fights being cancelled it wasn't a full house but the noise from the Dundee fans was incredible..

What's next for Ronnie?? On this performance he is going a very long way. Well done to everyone involved on putting on the show and lets hope to get another one In the future.

i am sure i read that the board wouldent sanction an area title , so they had to put it for the bronze masters ,which is only 8 rounds .

Did mccallums opponent fail his medical? his facebook said he did at first but then it was back on ... glad he got a run out

The Board didnt sanction the scottish title fight, But hey in our eyes Ronnie is the scottish champion as none of the so called prospects will fight him. Next fight Michael Roberts Jnr or Kris Badger Hughes;) Guarenteed either or will not be going the distance. Show was not the best last nights due to pulls put and we wont bull shit nobody. How someone can fail a brain scan on a thursday is beyond me and totally unproffesional and another one car brakes down near sheffield at 7 o clock. Ridiculous . But hey the show must go on and basically all the tickets were sold because of Ronnie so they all got the fight they wanted:)

Said with deepest sympathys im sure Gary, Although im not so sure how heartfelt it is by the way im taking that comment but hey its all swings and roundabouts and when!!! prospects suffer the same ill be sure to come and rub it in for you;) Scottish boxing is so frustrating as none of the prospects will fight each other and its so repetitive watching a journeymen v a prospect. Id like to hear someone like billy nelson or peter harrisons views on what should be happening with domestic boxing and who should be fighting who. Although I do believe Billy backs his boxer rightfully hes on of only few people on this boxing board who will call a spade a spade and not have other motives to what they are putting.

You don't seem to have heard of a place called England, domestic boxing involves more than just Scotland you know. Why would prospects fight each other without a title on the line? Everyone's looking to move towards title level, beating another prospect will get you there faster, but lose, and its a long road back.

The Superfeatherweight division in Scotland is packed and realistically not all of them are going to make it to title level so why not take some risks and fight each other to try and reach the top. I understand when people say that boxing and its politics and the need for journeymen but it actually worrys me the fact that even your opinions seem to think its acceptable for prospects not to fight other prospects. End of day promotors are ripping off the fans.FACT

Think you've picked me up wrong mate, I meant that it sounded like the crowd enjoyed it ,I ain't trying to rub anything in. As I have previously stated I think it's good to have loads of promotors up here,and wish every show success as it makes it healthier .

I would love Scottish boxing to go further but i do agree there is too much protecting of fighters :( I couldnt fight for a Scottish Title because nobody credible would fight me :( All i am doing is trying to climb the boxing ladder but with a small promoter and very limited knowledge its very difficult...

Who is next i hear u all asking?! Anyone in the top 10 of the British Rankings? I would like Ben Jones, Troy James, Douggie Curran or George Jupp... Maybe a little someone next month for a big fight May? ;)

Dougie curran was unlucky not to get the nod the other night mate,but he might be a good fight and he's a game lad.Well done on your win, loved the mankini pic at the weigh inn ,I have one myself...

He never failed it he has been inactive and has to meet with the board.

Prospects shouldn't fight journeymen forever, they need to be moved to title level at the right pace and with opponents that give them enough experience to have a chance when they get there. Ronnie's next fight should be against any one of Lee Jennings, Dean Anderson, Craig Johnson, Stephen Russell, Mickey Coveney, Scott Moises, Dougie Curran, Troy James or Kris Hughes.

Ben Jones is a 50/50 fight and I'm sure that's the one he will be after.. If Ronnie fights like that then Ronnie will win. I think he will be too strong for Jones.. As for Hughes and Roberts might be ideal fights and I think Ronnie would be favourite against both but I can't see the Roberts fight happening.. Maybe Hughes..

Ronnie need 1 or 2 more fights and he is ready for the British title.. What a fight it would be Against Liam Walsh... 2013 Year of the Shark
