As for De Gale, I think you believe the media stuff he portrays a bit too much, he comes across as a nice enough lad but says a few things to sell fights, a bit like David Haye, although I think he now realises that was a mistake. People were just waiting for the Groves defeat to slag him off and that's what happened.
But Haye comes across as a royal prick in the build up to fights as well. Or at least he has done since moving up to heavyweight. I'm not sure comparing DeGale to Haye is any form of compliment.
...which was exactly my point. It wasn't a 'comparison' to Haye, only in the sense of talking bollocks leading up to a fight to generate interest. David Haye is a totally different person to the one who talks such shit about his opponents.

I hope they put him in with Sakio Bika next. He's tough, tricky, durable, went the distance with Ward and has been in the top 10 for quite some time fighting the top guys.

Hearn seems more willing to set up competitive fights than some promoters, so you never know.
