Found this:

Vince Phillips beats Kelson Pinto
Vince still "Cool" at 42 years old

Raj Sharma @ ringside

October 14, 2005 - Vince Phillips, now 42 years old, kept his career going with a victory over Kelson Pinto in Orange County, California on Thursday. Phillips won by majority decision when he accidentally butted Pinto, forcing the welterweight bout to the cards after five rounds. Phillips dropped Pinto, now 23-2, in the second round as the 2000 Brazilian Olympian struggled with his footing on the slick canvas early on. Pinto was coming on in the fifth and hurt Phillips shortly before he suffered a cut over his right eye that ended the fight prematurely. Phillips, who has had at least one fight every year since 1989, is now 48-9-1 in a career checkered by drug use. He held the IBF 140-pound title from 1997-1999, beating Kostya Tszyu and then losing to Terronn Millett in two fights that defied pre-bout expectations. More to come...

So much for Pinto, eh?

If i was Pinto i'd probably try and get a re-match, but one thing can be said this loss has put a bit of a dent in his career.

Having seen Pinto get demolished by Cotto and now reading about this loss I think I know why he decided not to show up for the Hatton fight.
I still won't forgive him though. I still get angry at how much he disrespected the British fight public by not showing up for that.
