Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
You're ok but pulling out random tweets could put someone in a bad light; nothing got done, the lad apologised for his offensive behaviour and no airport got blown up

Exactly, people need to stop overanalysing things. The guy was being a dick, trying to make Curtis feel uncomfortable and trying to get a reaction from Curtis, on this occasion it wasn't the reaction he wanted and had the tables turned on him making him uncomfortable.palooka wrote:You're ok but pulling out random tweets could put someone in a bad light; nothing got done, the lad apologised for his offensive behaviour and no airport got blown up
He will think twice about baiting famous people now
Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
Oh I agree with that. I wasnt saying I disagreed with what Curtis did because apparantly this guy had been saying abusive things to Curtis for months on end and unwarranted aswell * i mean it wasnt as if Curtis had said anything to this guy by all accounts and then the guy started this* I was just commenting on people who said there wasnt a threat of violence. Im sure Curtis said it in the heat of the moment anyway. PS this has made Curtis famous now anyway! Hafreddydoesdallas wrote:Exactly, people need to stop overanalysing things. Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
Why does anyone bother with twitter, Curtis is having a 'debate' with someone who hates
Joey Barton. Best thing for Curtis to do now is to delete his account before the arsehole
avalanche drowns it.

I took a look on there last night it took fck*** ages to wade through all the sh*t. I don't do Twitter but Christ the screen was up down all over the place full of gobbledegook. Certainly didn't make me want to sign up any time soon. It reminds me of the comments section on Youtube :>Fat Git wrote:Why does anyone bother with twitter, Curtis is having a 'debate' with someone who hates

Wasted my afternoon trying to explain that then. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Having just listened to Curtis' side of the story on the Ifilm video. I take back a lot of what I said earlier, it appears he knew perfectly well who he was driving up to have a word with, and apparently the pudendum was abusing him for quite a few months and said some far more horrendous things than you can read in the twitter feeds about yesterday in the press.
A superman onesie though, Curtis?
Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
Yes it is, and film it, if the troll dogs it, then post on the internet and troll looks like a goose, if the troll fires up, then 'defend ones self' and the troll lookes like a goose, if the guy feigns injury, then the troll looks like a goose. Most people are afraid of physical confrontation, most boxers aren't, it's their chosen sport, Curtis Woodhouse called this man on his bluff, made a total goose out of him and probably got the reaction he expected.thepocketrocket wrote:Right, if the guy opens the door does Curtis hit him?
You are all giggling like schoolkids here, but if Curtis hits im he goes down/loses lisence..if he doesn't hit him he will look a pussy. And if the guy feigns injury then the pro boxer who drove 50 minutes to bang on his door is going to struggle to explain that one away.
Seriously, this isn't the way to deal with trolls

Only follow people who actually inspire you in whatever way - I have all the boxing news, filled in with footie gossip and regular tit shots - and you'll love it.
A friend only follows politicians, philosophers, astronomers etc. He doesn't get any of the drivel.
Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
Just baiting him over and over. Using the usual swear-words with the occasional chavvy insult, local to that area.mimmy123 wrote:what was the guy saying to Curtis?????
Curtis played it cool. The other tit persisted. Curtis made his arse drop.

Total lack of understanding of consequences, with all due respect.dberry wrote:Yes it is, and film it, if the troll dogs it, then post on the internet and troll looks like a goose, if the troll fires up, then 'defend ones self' and the troll lookes like a goose, if the guy feigns injury, then the troll looks like a goose. Irate boxer drives 50 minutes to meet someone who isn't trained to fight, and violence occurs. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out how that will play in the courts. The troll will get away scot free and the boxer gets the law coming down on him.
As has been stated, Woodhouse in one of his tweets says he was he was going to smash him. If people don't realise how this could have played badly they are beyond hope...A quick 'I was only going to chat' will not be enough
As I said, I am a Woodhouse fan. 95% of the people stroking him off on the net would be too upset if he belted him for some reason and the law got involved and his licence revoked. They would still it was funny the troll got some

Also baited him over his dead father...
Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
I didn't go that far back. What I read justified him being fronted. That extra shit just takes the biscuit.

Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
Ive not read what was said but it could have gone bad in lots of ways by confronting tossers who you don't know. What would have happened if Curtis had found the kids house? That kid could have opened the door with a 12 inch blade and anything could have happened?
This is what happens with social networking and facebook and twitter.
You write things on FB and twitter to get a reply don't you? I am on twitter and follow several people such as Ricky Gervais, he is always tweeting every day and im sure he gets grief but never replies to it. I had a quick look at the Curtis twitter page and there was another kid who was slagging him off pretty bad but he didn't act on that.
Is there any way this was a set up perhaps?

So you've changed your tune regarding the implicit threat of violence then? The Dark Destroyer wrote:Just how long the tweeting been going on for, what he'd said and whatnot. But it was the stuff about him knowing quite a bit about the lad before he decided to go that made me change my mind about it a bit, my thoughts were yesterday he just found out where this person lived and went, and didn't know anything about, but I was incorrect.Wales wrote: Cant access it, what was said?

Re: Curtis Woodhouse v Keyboard Warrior
It might be sound in a lot of cases Jai, but people seem to abuse and spoil it, for example - the silly sods on there are not going to bait some famous historian but I was reading Curtis' twitter account and he was presently having a 'debate' with some random poster who said 'it is your job to take criticism and abuse' and you think - why do these people bother, in that interview with Cassius he said he got 50 messages a day telling him he was shit. So it seems a strand of celebrity - sportsmen and probably singers and actors get a ton of abuse - no wonder there is VIP lounges in nightclubsjBacca wrote:It's sound, Carlos.Fat Git wrote:Why does anyone bother with twitter, Curtis is having a 'debate' with someone who hates

Now, thats the problem, best thing for Curtis to do now is delete the account and move on - there will be too many idiots around the world now trying to bait him.The Dark Destroyer wrote:Have you heard the phrase 'don't feed the troll'?
