Can't understand why Sam wasn't given a sample? Nor do I understand why Dr Peter Lewis, who apparently travelled with him, didn't insist?

if it's the last thing on ones mind, then it's the last thing on the mind. If he wasn't wary of it then he wouldn't have been bracing for it.

Good to see Dr Lewis & Dave Hedgcock are now mates. They certainly weren't yonks ago, after ref Dave stopped John Wayne Parr's kickboxing bout due to very bad cut. JWP whinged & whinged to Lewis...I've had worse in Thailand blah blah blah. Lewis gave in....overruled Dave & let it continue. Should've seen smoke coming out of Dave's nose & ears...it fogged TV camera lenses
At the end, JWP needed 3 times as many stitches......no wonder he's such a good look these days ;;-)

JWP said, and it's not verbatum "I've had worse cuts shaving" It was against Dana "The Trainer" Goodson's boy, Jeremy Allen.

I might add, I was somewhat suspicious whether Dr Lewis was a fully fledged doctor, hospital ward nurse or imposter...given he was President of a kickboxing association at the time.

When they going to open Soliman's other sample? Guilty until proven innocent now for Sam. Nothing to lose. Sooner it's open and tested the better.

Was thinking the same thing. B Sample needs to be tested to clear this shit up, Feel bad for Soliman and some of the stuff coming back and forth from Germany seems suspect - However it all goes back to the B-Sample now.

More than 5 weeks since the fight and "Boxrec" still have it down as a win for Soliman. Has this all been a beat up?

I think it is all a beatup aimed at thwarting the Geale fight.

No question about that. The big question is when are they going to get around to opening the B sample and get this thing over with?

If it is a beat up, I reckon sam should demand the geale bout be signed. At least then we may get a statement from the ibf regarding this issue. My understaing was daniel and sam had to fight within 90 days of jan 30. This would be late april early may....now only six weeks away.

I read somewhere there was a window of time the fight had to be agreed to within and because of the drug thing coming up that time has come and gone. Geale fighting someone else is looking more and more likely as time passes.

I agree mate but if the ibf arent going to enforce a suspension or any sanction against sam, or officially find him guilty its a disgrace the levels he has had to go to over the years to get a title shot. He has fought and won a no 1 challengers bout and should be fighting geale next....or the ibf need to tell us why he.isnt.

Apart from a story in Ring, which came up with some rubbish about steroids, has anybody seen any real coverage of this?

Ring has gone downhill since DLH took it over.

The only real noise about this has come frrom Germany and that online Ring article that appeared to be sensationlist journalism at it's baseless best. I'm led to believe even the IBF are in the dark obout what's happening, Sam is still rated as IBF #1 and considering he was before the Sturm fight, unless he is suspended from the sport then he should get the mandatory.
