McDermott vs Skelton

Post by WestEndRiot »

This one appears to have flown under the radar a bit. I only remembered when I saw the odds at the bookies, and McDermott is what looks to me, a very big 9/4 for the win.

I know they have previous, but I think that can go down as McD being caught cold.

McD is definitely the better boxer, and has shown he can have a brawl too. Hasn't been very active but he always seems to be fit despite his physique.

How do we see this one going?

I predict the same outcome to be fair although not as early ,Matt Skeltons still tough even though David Price stopped him in only 2,no great shame there,Price will put down most people he connects with even if it was the body shot that done the damage and John McDermott doesnt seem to be as durable since the 1st fight with Tyson Fury although that was a good stoppage win against Larry Olubamiwu,i dont think he,s got the power to stop Skelton, should be good though ,competitive while it lasts, both genuine likeable guys
