Pro Box North East Next Show

Pro box North East next show is at the Rainton Meadow Arena Sunderland 19 th April which will be shown live on loaded tv free on sky 200.
Headlining the bill will be Jon Lewis Dickinson v Mike Stafford for the British cruise weight championship Chief Support will be Glen Foot stepping up in class to fight welsh boxer Jason Cook with both lads bangers . Also on the bill is a full card of North east boxers (12 bouts)

Gary Fox
Tommy Ward
Chris Bennet
Anth Nelson
Callum Winton
Paul Truscott

For anyone who doesn't know, Phil Jeffries is working his socks off to keep pro boxing going in the north east.

Deserves plenty of praise :salut:

very good card this even better than the last card phil well done :TU:

be a cracking atmos as cope, winton and chubzy all bring fans esp copey whose fans are loco!

getting a good stable of north east fighters at a good age for first time in years

why isnt boxing as big in the north east as it is in say north west and other areas? manchester,liverpool,sheffield londan are the main areas but most other places its quite big but no in north east?

As know over the years a lot of shows have lost a lot of money but onwards and upwards northeast

Was Rob Ismay originally meant to be on this bill? I know he is on the Wraith 18th May card, but could have sworn i heard he was on here too? Aye, looks a cracking card. Top 2 fights look very good.

I've moved from Liverpool to Newcastle and from what I've found, there isn't anywhere near as many boxing gyms.

Massive drinking culture and not a lot of gyms. The nearest one to me (thats if its still there) is even under a pub.

Closest to me if Forest Hall but then that's about it...
